It is now official IT policy in my office: Whenever I recieve a ticket marked "Urgent" or "ASAP" that blatantly isn't, I will spend at least 10 minutes brushing a pony before responding to it.
-
@ceruleanspark Did you ever know that you're my HE-ROW!
-
@ceruleanspark This is probably the most rational and productive policy involving I.T. -- heck, perhaps anywhere -- to come out of any corporate setting in a long time. I think that I will work to implement it here.
-
@astra Ah hello there Astra, how be you doing today? Same old same old?
-
@mrdragon Hello! Shame on you for lurking.
-
@lightningcrash You know, if anypony ever actually wants me all they have to do is @mrdragon and a hi or something :P it'll pop up on my browser with a 1 as I have the replies to me section open as a tab :P same with DM's/
Scribus likes this. -
@mrdragon Wow, that's even better than Betelgeuse, you have to call him three times!
-
@mrdragon Lol, I didn't know. Good information to know. I'm just yankin your tail.
-
@scribusmyers I prefer to be as easily contactable as possible. :P
-
@lightningcrash ^.^ I know, hehe.
-
@mrdragon Not a bad policy.
-
@scribusmyers It helps keep this place as organised as I can keep it, which isn't very organised, but that's the way we all like it anyway.
-
@mrdragon I'm sure Twilight would disagree, but we appear to have her out-voted. ;p
-
@scribusmyers Oh I bet she would as well, but then again. I'm part Twilight myself with organisation and learning about friendship. :P
-
@mrdragon I am *far* from organized in any meaningful sense of the word, but I just about always manage to remember where I left whatever I'm looking for. Almost always. Well, frequently, anyway.
-
@scribusmyers I can never remember we're I left things, just like Twilight :P I need me a spike.
-
@mrdragon I think my main porblem is that I just have too much junk. I could probably use a Spike, myself, if only to burn some of this stuff...
-
@scribusmyers *looks around his area* Yeah... burn SOME stuff... I got enough for a bonfire xD
-
@mrdragon Maybe if I join in, it'll be seen from space. :p
-
@scribusmyers Haha, that would be awesome. Not sure how to explain it, but we can deal with that once we get in trouble ^.^
-
@mrdragon Shrug and a catchphrase - works wonders on family sitcoms!
-
@scribusmyers EEyup, sounds like a plan. Now were'd I put all the petrol and gasoline...
-
@mrdragon Hello, there! :) Things are actually going pretty well so far today. Overall, though, yes, same old. And how is everything there?
-
@astra I'm glad to hear that, and over here nothing much to be honest with you. Trying to over come a few things, mainly me passing out when I woke up this morning. But apart form that it's the same old same old for me as usual myself.
-
@mrdragon Den?! "Passing out" as in going right back to sleep, or as involuntarily blacking out? The former wouldn't be entirely unexpected, what with your stated sleep schedule troubles. The latter, on the other hand, is cause for concern. :( Anyway, I'm glad that your day is, otherwise, going reasonably well. :)
-
@astra I got a phone call around... 10ish. Told me to do.. something I can't remember was my mother. Went downstairs to do it and woke up on the couch, didn't know what happened or how I got there. Then I woke up at around 1:30 with my mother shaking me awake after apparently getting back in to bed. I don't know really what's happened or going on, but I can only guess it's major sleep lose and at last my mind said no.
-
@mrdragon Eek! Yes, either that, or someone is giving you hits of propofol or something, when you're not looking. But my gut says that your body and mind are trying to tell you something, there.
-
@astra Yes indeed, I doubt the medication one there :P we have no such meds in our family or a family member in need. I'll be getting a checkup tomorrow over it all, so I shall be able to tell you more about it and what's going on. It's not good, but I don't think it's anything serious to be honest. Either way, glad that your doing ok now.
