    2. @ceruleanspark That's because it's less refined, so there are more impurities, making it taste different. Traditionally, brown sugar should be used in coffee.

      1. @seanthesheep When I have the choice, I usually go with brown sugar, but it's too expensive to use at home. It tastes...smoother. Less harshly "sweet" than white sugar.

        1. @ceruleanspark Aye, the extra impurities give it a more robust flavour that compliments the coffee better.
