I recall hearing on a TV show (can't recall which one) to "never answer the phone after 9 - it's never good news." So when my parents' phone rang at 9:20 I was nervous, but I answered. Turned out, it was my sister who had just left to visit her boyfriend (I think?). She had seen a car driving up the street shining a flashlight at the houses on the block. So, this leaves me wondering if I'm going to sleep well tonight and leave it to the dog, or if I'm going to fall back on !caffeine and #derp-age for tomorrow.

@pinhooves Most likely. It's a good neighborhood. But there has been issue with a drug dealer, and a murder about a block or two away... But it's a good enough neighborhood that it was shocking when it happened!

@pinhooves Nah, and it wasn't a random murder, if that makes it any better. Actually, I think it turned out to be a murder-suicide. But aside from that, a really nice neighborhood. I mean it.

@scribus Around here all we get are random fires being set around town... which remind me, I need to find my lighter and I'll brb.

@scribus Ah, that's a relief. We have a nice neighbourhood here too, but some nights I can hear a bunch of teens walking by our road. Sometimes it's screaming I hear from them too.
