        @scribus I enjoyed it. The ending wasn't quite like I was expecting it to be. it sorta leaves me off wondering what happens next, what happened to that family? I hate how Erik died. Overall, it was a good movie.

              @miloth Yeah, I abandoned a discussion with a village idiot about how every single story must (with absolutely no allowed variance) follow the formula of beginning-middle-end and that an open ending is stopping the story too early.

                @scribus What about stories that start in the middle of the action and then show how they got there? Or is this more meant in a sense of style/preference than the definition of a story?

                  @retl He was a genuine idiot. He'd say that doesn't qualify, but then talk about how much he loved a movie because it did that, then why another movie that did the same thing was wrong for it, all in one conversation. I've several times just turned and walked away while he was mid-sentence.
