So I'm stuck in a loop with Dell's hardware troubleshooting procedures for my main laptop (with a monitor that won't turn on). I expected incompetence but not something so blatant.

@ceruleanspark I'm on the site following instructions, I haven't called. My warranty & tech support ran out about a year before the issue popped up.

@retl Yeah, it's a bummer, but I've got my netbook and two smartphones now, so I'm not really in too much trouble for it. Just annoyed, more than anything.
