Hey, I've got a terrible idea! After the next new episode, there should be a race to get a fanfic out about one of the new background characters. (Man, I hope there's new background characters next episode, otherwise this . . . won't work. Did I mention it was a bad idea? This is just *one* of the reasons it's a bad idea.) But! We'll need rules. Um... An agreed-upon fanon name shall be used, and it should be at least 1,000 words. (This will never work! Never! And yet - I post it.) And no just taking an existing fic and changing names!

@pinhooves I would. :p But, at the same time, I would *probably* aim for "hilariously bad" as I did it. Like my one Rainbow Dash fic...

@scribus It wasn't exactly a fic, but I've done 1.2k words in one afternoon. Guess I can give it a shot. Besides, if it goes bad I can blame the time window.

@scribus I've yet to try my hoof at ponies, but ALL my writing has been a trainwreck, no matter what I start with, so that doesn't change anything.

@eaglehooves I think my main problem is that I *should* be an outline writer, but I try to discovery write instead. Well, no, not exactly... Anyway, guess I don't know what my problem is. (What else is new?)
