@purplephish20 Oh it's too late for you anyway.

@purplephish20 sometimes its a seasonal thing.

@purplephish20 I'll put my medical pony hat on for a bit: We'll start with the obvious: Has anyone punched you in the face lately? Alternatively, have you started taking any new medications of any sort? Have you experienced any environmental changes that might have exposed you to new allergens?
-
@ceruleanspark 1. Not been in a physical fight in 3 years 2. ZERO medication 3. You know as well as me how cold it's getting in England, but I'm indoors 99% of the time so that's not a factor

@purplephish20 You can be exposed to allergens indoors. Changes to fabric softener or washing powder, for instance can lead to allergic reactions. Very cold air /can/ cause nosebleeds, but I don't personally think it's that cold yet. Have you been exposed to any changes in atmospheric pressure lately? It could be an infection in your upper respiratory system, or the manifestation of something like a deviated septum. As you said, I'd make an appointment to see a doctor if it continues.
-
@ceruleanspark Yea, I can just feel pressure sort of behind my eyes where all the sinuses sort of link up, so If I have another major one I'm off to the doctors, I was going to give blood in about 2 weeks so I hope I have enough blood to do it, seriously

@purplephish20 I might be tempted to see doctors anyway. The sinus cavity marks the apex of the fantastically named Maxillofacial Death Pyramid.
-
@ceruleanspark Please, tell me more. This intrigues me

@purplephish20 The Maxillofacial Death Pyramid, otherwise known as the "Danger Triangle of the Face" consists of the area between the sinus cavity, down to the corners of your mouth. It is so called because of the high quantity of blood vessels supplying the nose. These are connected to the sinus cavity, which is part of the cranial cavity. It is possible for external infections to "jump" through this portal into your brain.

@ceruleanspark Cool!.... I'm gonna die...

@purplephish20 No you'll get meningitis first. I'm just saying, don't cherries around with potential infections in that part of your face.

@ceruleanspark And no I'm not allergic to anything... Apart from an incredibly mild low skin resistance to Tuna fish... Or that may just be brine, I'm not sure
