Very cold air /can/ cause nosebleeds, but I don't personally think it's that cold yet. Have you been exposed to any changes in atmospheric pressure lately? It could be an infection in your upper respiratory system, or the manifestation of something like a deviated septum. As you said, I'd make an appointment to see a doctor if it continues.
