  1. What is it with people smelling like they bathe in cheese and onions?

    1. @abigpony Just from that comment, or from the previous ones?

    2. @scribus Oh, sorry. I farted.

    3. @abigpony It was my first not-satisfactory meetup, for what it's worth.

    4. @abigpony Nah, just that the people I've come to somewhat know weren't there, and the others were either neutral or "Distance myself from them" types. However! I'm glad they didn't decide to raid the Toys R Us. That would have been when I silently walked away and went home.

      1. @scribus Youre problem is that you have too high of expectations. You shouldn't expect ppl you can relate to...

        1. @starlightbolt I've actually had decent luck so far. Today was a bit of a fluke.

    5. @abigpony Eh, my fault. I'm just not as game-y as I used to be, largely because of the prominence of MMORPG and FPS games. Also the having worked two jobs for years. That killed any game-time I had. And, yeah, there actually is a TRU across the street. *sigh* -_- Across the street, where one person would rather have driven than walked. Less than a city block.

      1. @scribus Ugh... I'm started to be disappointed just following this conversation.

        1. @starlightbolt It's so hard to say, "We're not like that!" when you can actually point directly at someone who embodies the stereotype we're trying to fight.

          1. @scribus Ive stopped fighting it. I don't call myself a brony anymore. Now I just say im a pony loving /b/tard.... Sadly it comes with a much better reputation.

            1. @starlightbolt I've just never made it publicly known. I don't hide it, I don't flaunt it. I think I decided "I like this show" before I found out about bronies, so I just kept to "I like MLP:FiM" more than "I am a brony."

              1. @scribus Its probably for the best. I like the second season far more than the first, however the community is a lot worse and embarrassing to be associated with

                1. @starlightbolt Yeah, well. . . Any group will have its negative representatives.

                  1. @scribus Yes, but I fear they are now the group and we are the minority of it...

                    1. @starlightbolt I always figure the majority is not outstanding in one way or the other. Not that that helps, but it doesn't hinder!

                      1. @scribus Mostly the ones motivated to AND have the free time to random meet ups are the bad ones.

    6. @abigpony Not exceedingly. Definitely not a triathlete, but no Hutt.

    7. @abigpony Not at all, as far as I noticed. Overheard someone mention "Those people in pony shirts" at Carl's Jr., but I couldn't figure the context behind that sentence fragment.

      1. @scribus I wouldnt have joined in with the group. Its probably best to tag one of the beasts and follow at a distance. For future reference ;p
