      1. @forestrain Yu ever use reverb for your vocal recordings much? Reverb plus recording a harmony = win

        1. @crusader8 ...I don't think I ever -don't- use reverb... I generally have a reverb bus, a delay bus, and I EQ the crap out of harmonies, as well as add a few special things to make the harmonies "shimmer" in the background.

          1. @forestrain I totally meant something else but thought reverb. And now apparently I can't think of what I was thinking of... Oh well maybe I'm used to power metal (they overuse vocal harmonies, and I'm in wubs with that abuse of vocal harmonies)

          2. @forestrain Forgive me I only recorded one studio demo, then some stuff for quick pass-out demos with a relatively simple Boss device, and mostly I just perform live. And technology hates me anyway, so yeah kinda ignorant lol

            1. @crusader8 Lol, no worries man. With power metal, they use pretty high levels of reverb to make everything super Jack Black epic, and they really lay on the backups. ^.^

              1. @forestrain Jack Black epic? Man, we all know he doesn't need a microphone (because his voice is f'in powerful)

              2. @forestrain It's not *always* reverb. Hansi does a lot of overdub. :p
