You know, i am going to be honest here, my school has the biggest bunch of idiots in it. Teachers. Students. Officials. Can't wait for college so I can leave this place.

@doates I've got some pretty bad news about college. Also university and life outside the educational system in general.

@ceruleanspark Pretty much, long story short: School sucks. Its filled with idiots and you just pray and pray that they would go away, but in the end, you will meat their counterparts in other school and classes.

@doates One day you will grow up and realise that life itself is terrible, and maybe you should have tried to enjoy school some more while you had it easy.

@thelastgherkin I always hated hearing that from people, because it wasn't my fault I didn't enjoy it. I *tried* to enjoy it, it would not allow me to enjoy it.

@toksyuryel It is only in retrospect I realise that I should have made more time to actually experience joy before having the capacity to do so burned out of me by the inescapable crushing hell that is adult life

@doates People always told me it gets better in college. It doesn't. It's just high school all over again, only worse because now they can legally drink so they don't have to put any effort into hiding it.

@ceruleanspark Explain to me where I'm supposed to find joy in being trapped in a room with a student who is actively trying to kill me with a pair of scissors. And then when I managed to get out of there none of the staff cared about it.

@toksyuryel Yeah, crap like that is why I used to carry a three-ring binder made out of stainless steel diamond deck.

@toksyuryel I wouldn't know. When I got stabbed in secondary school the staff were more concerned that my parents pulled me out of school in protest than they were that it happened in the first place.

@toksyuryel Then find a heavy object of some sort. Alternatively, carry a rock in your backpack.
