Wow, readline is only available on Unix platforms? That's gotta suck for Windows users.

@toksyuryel Windows users usually have different needs than Unix ones.

@ponydude I thought it was something like that. Most Windows users I know don't do much of that. All the people I know studying programming are on some distro of Linux, or have a Mac.

@eaglehooves I can think of at least one use-case for readline on Windows, that being any chat client (whether it's IM, IRC, XMPP, etc).

@eaglehooves See, I think part of that, though, is that Windows is basically "the" OS. If you're just a person who wants to access the 'tubes, it'll most likely be Windows - because they're on damn near everything not specialized.

@eaglehooves Heh. This is the first time I've ran Linux non stop for more than half a day or so. I'mma gunna stay on this and see how long it takes till I'm forced to switch back to windows.
