@praxis No nightmares if I don't sleep! ^_^
-
@clarity thats quite true!
-
@clarity You have nightmares? I envy you.
-
@nerthos uh.. What?
-
@clarity I can't have them. It's been years. I miss fear.
-
@nerthos I don't have nightmares either. Had a dream today. It's been a while for that too.
-
@carcino Didn't you say you were going to sleep 2 hours ago?
-
@derps I'm trying to sleep.
-
@nerthos There is something wrong with you. Do you know how many times I've drowned?
-
@carcino It sure doesn't seem like it...
-
@carcino ...While posting on RBDN....?
-
@derps I'm closing my eyes.
-
@clarity ummm.... none... if you are still typing... you fail at drowning...
-
@carcino You can type with your eyes closed? Also, did you know you recently past your 40,000 post?
-
@derps In between posts. And no. It's not that important to me.
-
@derps I can type with my eyes closed... ready?? egjegoenopegog eg klgm e g. SEE!
-
@carcino Reaaaaally? It may help to close the browser!
-
@nlghtmaremoon lol. i love it.
-
@nlghtmaremoon I, too, can type with my eyes closed. I juse typed this entire notice with my eyes closed.
-
@nlghtmaremoon eyes xoser wgyls u typef thod. (eyes closed while I typed this.)
-
@jojoax thanks :)
-
@clarity No, I don't have the slightest idea. But is it wrong to want a full experience?
-
@nlghtmaremoon #facehoof nightmares, Nightmare.
-
@carcino Oh, I have dreams pretty often. And once in a while I have a bad dream, and in a short time from that moment something bad happens or someone of my family dies.
-
@nerthos Somewhat strange, but not exactly wrong. I prefer nice dreams, like the one where I folded wings out of paper and they actually made me fly.
-
@nerthos Boring. Me want nightmares.
-
@carcino Yup. Me too. I guess being strong and smooth in tought makes them dissappear?
-
@carcino well fear is a far more stimulating emotion than happiness or bliss. much more happening in the body when afraid.
-
@nerthos I'm those things!
-
@clarity Yup, nice dreams are good, but they get boring after a while of only them.
-
@nerthos There are also the downright strange dreams, where everyone in my school becomes invisible except me.
-
@clarity how do you know they are just not there?
-
@nlghtmaremoon Because they talked to me. And someone slapped me across the face, which was not very nice and I have a pretty good idea of who it was.
-
@carcino Yup. It seems everybody I know that fits into that profile is lacking in the nightmare field. My mother thinks they're caused by being preocupied by someone else, if that's right, sadly, I'm pretty much immune to them.
-
@clarity I rarely dream about school related things. My dreams almost always end in conflict or bloodshed of some kind, or are completely unrelated from earthly issues.
-
@nerthos actually studies have proven that the majority of dreams are negative in some way.
-
@clarity I used to have the exact same dream happen to me almost every night when I was younger. I was in a room, imagining a couple lines. Then I would put a line across the others, halving the length of them. When I did this I would hear someone quietly complaining. Then I would giggle and put another line across, and would hear someone say something like: Hey! I would smile, then I would half it again. This time the person would be getting pretty angry, and complain loudly. It would repeat a couple of times until I was squished inside this imaginary box I put myself into and by the end, the voice yelling at me was swearing and yelling very loudly. Then I would remove all the lines which crossed the others, feel relieved, and then start all over. I literally had this dream almost every day for many, many years.
-
@praxis Negativity is so subjective, though.
-
@nerthos My dreams tend to be based on what I've seen or heard or thought about that day, just twisted around in my mind a bit. I'm not exactly the most original person.
-
@praxis Oh, interesting. I find them refreshing, since in a place completely under my will, I don't have to care for rules or laws. Being god of the plane, I can solve everything by talking or by slashing the problem with my sword.
-
@scribus indeed it is, but in the generally accepted meaning of negativity, failing a test, losing something/someone important and so on
-
@clarity Mine end up a bit like that too. Days with too much work make for really lousy dreams.
-
@praxis You have posted 3304 Notices
-
@clarity Hmm... mine rarely have anything to do with the recent period of time. They're related to far past, future, or to neither of the three time spaces.
-
@eaglehooves i meant today :P
-
@renovatedkitchen I've never had the same dream twice... But that's interesting. Did you like to see how mad you could make people when you were little?
-
@praxis Oh, okay. Because, yeah, the zombie apocalypse would be a bad thing, but when I dream about it I'm having fun!
-
@nerthos Interesting...
-
@eaglehooves I must admit I've never had a dream about lice.
-
@clarity yes. Thats the feeling I got. I was trying to make them as mad, but when I was very cramped in this box I made, I would feel bad and stop. And the more I crossed those "lines" with other lines, the angrier the voice would become.
-
@clarity That would not be fun.
-
@clarity but this is an impossibility!
-
@renovatedkitchen creepy. I used to have a dream that an alien invader came to earth and planned to destroy it, but before he could press the big red button, his mom called him and scolded him for not eating his veggies. Then he went home. lol
-
@clarity I wouldn't try to make people mad. I was just always shy.
-
@renovatedkitchen Oh... okay.
-
@eaglehooves And you have dreams about lice when you work too much?
-
@clarity No... I don't work with lice (Thank Celestia). Usually when I work to much it's some blur involving computers.
-
@praxis Nighty night, brain. go to sleep... Now. right now.
-
@eaglehooves .... Never mind... Lousy literally means "full of lice," but I guess you didn't get it.
-
@clarity I like how dreams can be mostly disconected from the time "continuum" in wich we live. They can easily escape the "rails" in wich time ussualy transpires, and show pieces far in both ways, completely untied from our limitations. Being able to gain some more control of this would be really useful, since I'm just in the middle of the way; able to alter the scenario to will, but not to avoid it counciously, so also neglected by myself the gift of foretelling. Only short lapsus of other times I'm able to grasp and discern in my actual state.
-
@clarity I don't english at 3am.
-
@nerthos wow.
-
@clarity Yeah, I know, I became entangled in all that mess of words. Every time I gain a decent level of control over a language it happens xD Maybe it is because of the limitations of these languages, or by my fondness to complex things?
-
@musicbreeze lol. That's awesome. Wish I could of had regular dreams.
-
@nerthos I am quickly running out of things to say to you that won't sound stupid compared to what you're saying..
-
@clarity Haha, don't worry... I'm pretty used to get excited over something and slowly insert phylosophy and stuff into it until I kill the conversation.
