@techdisk42 The BBC is ludicrously protective of that property. Parts of the universe are also owned by another company, who are even MORE obsessively protective, so...no.

@techdisk42 Plus, in england, the BBC is a publically funded channel with strict rules against advertising. Allowing one of their properties to be used in a show that is essentially advertising would contravene that.

@danielmikaelson the formula of the show is the mane 6 doing stuff and hacing background ponies there just to react or interact. Even Luna's episode was more about Twilight solving her problem and Pinkie Pie interfering with Luna's progress

@crusader8 I don't agree with most of this. All I would really like is a bit more elaboration on Scootaloo and her background (that is priority #1!) and at least another glimpse of the "little girl's show"-esque nature of the first season. I have faith that whatever they do will be just fine by me (and honestly, I'll still watch it no matter what they do with it) but the elaboration on Scootaloo is really all i can ask of them.

@alargesmallhorse forgot aboot that actually, because that's something I've wanted. the scootaloo part anyway. But my list was more about subject matter and not about substance, if that makes sense. But you REALLY feel Applejack shouldn't get her own song?

@crusader8 If she gets one, so be it. I just don't really care for pushing for one. She's not much of a "singing" type much like Rainbow Dash isn't. That's the reason they not only made her do a duet instead of a solo song and it plays out more like a conversation in "Find a pet". I honestly would not prefer one in any sense, but if they gave her one, I wouldn't complain.

@alargesmallhorse my wishing =/= pushing. I don't see how she isn't a "singing type," though rainbow dash definitely isn't a singing type in that sense i suppose. The only reason I'd like to hear her solo a song is because I like my ponies with music, and I want my pony mix to have a bit more variety than Rarity and Twi singing a majority of the music (for the songs longer than 30 seconds anyway). But that problem gets solved anyway whenever they do something unexpected like having the villain sing "This Day Aria" which I was pleased with. In spite of all this wish listing I'd rather have Applejack have her own episode that isn't overshadowed by other characters which I guess is the only thing I'm butthurt about with her season two episodes.

@crusader8 Eh. her personality in general doesn't allow her to be a very strong central character which is the reason I don't think they've given her a whole episode. What're they gonna make her do; buck apples again? She doesn't do anything. Also, she is so close to RD I have no idea how you can still see her as a "singing" pony. I have to admit, I love her singing voice alot. if you want an AJ episode where she isn't overshadowed by everyone else, go see Applebuck Season or something. What would you even propose goes down in her own episode?
