Okay, guys! I need some help with my American slang. If I was a kid in a schoolyard threatening to beat someone up, would I say that I was going to "pail" them? Is there a cooler equivalent?

@starshine It could've been worse. I could've said "lamp". #loljk The actual "could've been worse" scenario happened on Ponibooru, where one commenter decided that my use of "it's a good job I..." instead of "it's a good thing I..." "expose[d my] retardation to the world".
