So how does all this work? the site and everything. I've never gotten into any social sites except FB

@fireheart You can reply to an individual person by clicking that third blue icon underneath their comment. You have an inbox for messages that you can talk to people privately through, and there's an "RDNStream" at the top of the page that, if you click it, plays videos that we're basically all watching along with you at the same time.

@clayinthecarpet nice! So what about the "Groups" thing? I find a group I like, join, then what?

@fireheart I don't do the groups much, but I did join a local group to find more localized friends. I found it through a Google search, honestly. haha

@fireheart When you join a group, you can post to it by selecting it from the "To:" dropdown in the status update box. All posts from that group also go straight to your Personal timeline for easy monitoring, and being in a group allows you to see any post sent privately to that group (done by, obviously, clicking the Private button next to the "To:" box).

@clayinthecarpet Yeah, the only brony I know is my GF's brother, and he's the one who introduced me to mlp. I was hoping to find some others who are into the same things as me. Art, Gaming, stuuuufffff.... lol

@fireheart I think you'll find that not only are many of us here bronies, but we're involved in the creation of art in our own ways, whether it's pony-related or not. Personally, I have been producing lots of pony-related art as of late. For example... http://ur1.ca/g1ujf

@fireheart Hey, we have people who do that! Check !art for art stuff, and for videogames... well, there's !vgp, but most of the videogame discussion is posted to no group in particular.
