  1. It still perplexes me how people completely have fogotten how to drive in snow. Here, of all places. When i know for a fact they've been here for years.

    1. @awlderpy I know, where I live, everyone I know is talking about how they almost got in like 3 crashes this morning

      1. @pixisticks nearly getting involved in crashes is better than getting involved. People i've seen are either way too cautious or way too nonchalant. That could also be my overconfidence.

        1. @awlderpy That is true, No one I know is in a crash yet (thankfully)

    3. @rancidrob here all-season tyres are way more popular but if they aren't mud and snow rated they really shouldn't be used. I right now have excellent m+s rated all-seasons on my daily, although they are much more appropriate for winter. I have a set to swap with come summertime.

            1. @awlderpy If I had complete control over where to live when and where, I'd probably wanted to live here ( or at least it would be a strong contestant ) http://goo.gl/maps/CuWV8 . Although I would have to take a look at the current railway and airport map of Canada and the US before I'd turn it into the wish I'd ask a genie after stumbling upon one.

    5. @awlderpy See, at least when people in SoCal can't drive in the rain, they can get away with "Well it only happens once a year" as an excuse.

      1. @scribus exactly! Hard to use the same excuse when on average we get two decent snowstorms. Glad to see you're back btw.

        1. @awlderpy Thanks! Glad to be feeling well enough to be back. :p Though, I do have to go and get ready for work now...

          1. @scribus hopefully it can go as well as my own workweek has. I actually have managed 40+ hours thus far, for the first time in months.

    6. @rancidrob with your volvo neither would i. On my heavy fwd car, directional tyres have served very well.

    7. @rancidrob i don't like their concept either. Not since learning the vast differences between them.

    8. @rancidrob I tend to find that things that are supposed to be good at everything are rarely great at anything.
