  1. I don't feel like I should be this prepared for something that probably won't happen. Is that any sort of indication of how much I want to get out of here and be safe?

      1. @awlderpy http://rainbowdash.net/conversation/3086889#notice-3167623 Like, seriously. People are /papayaed/. They haven't wanted to talk to me all day so far and would hardly talk to me or let me participate last night. I fear that I have somehow crossed 'the line' and that I'm about to be evicted from the house.

        3. @coffeecream Good God, over this? I'd certainly hope not. For what it's worth... if it happens I'll help when and however I can, but it better not get to that. All you did was raise an issue. I'll be rooting for you.

        4. @coffeecream That's ...really messed up. Have you tried being direct, honest, and calm and just sit down and talk to them?

          1. @clayinthecarpet I've tried to. I've talked to Dad about it a bit. Mum won't say anything to me. Despite everything I feel like they may have lost their trust of me. They say I'm not being discreet. If they're not even talking to me though I get the feeling that me saying something is probably going to come back to bite me.

If it does happen I do have a plan. I have a friend about 3 hours away that I can reach via train and crash with for a while, hopefully. After that I can start thinking about moving out of the country.

            1. @coffeecream What, like, to Europe or something? Yeesh. That's a long way away. I hope things work out.

            2. @coffeecream :/ Man, that sounds horrible. I'm so, so sorry...but your parents sound like dicks. What did you even do to warrant that behavior, you think?

              1. @clayinthecarpet I was going to talk to them about the driving lesson they were talking about giving me, and some other issues I was having with the family, last night. My sister who was outside my room told me that they weren't home, so I talked to her about it instead, because I figured that she must have some issues with how some things happen, or why they happen. Turns out Mum was still home, and listening in and either she got upset that I was talking to my sister about it instead of her, or that I said anything about it at all.

                1. @coffeecream Wow, that's...not...a good reason for a parent to be angry at their son. At all. Very irrational. I hope it fairs well for you, at any rate...Still, totally unfair if it doesn't.

                  1. @clayinthecarpet Part of me wonders that, even if things do go well, maybe I should think about leaving soon anyway if I get so paranoid about my own family.

                    1. @coffeecream If it's a place you can't feel comfortable anymore, regardless of the facts of the matter, then yes...Perhaps you should consider getting the eff out. That doesn't sound like a healthy household at any rate.

            3. @coffeecream You're welcome in Minneapolis (when I have a permament living situation)
