@snowcone Well, a kid did slice his arm a month or so ago cuz he was messing around with a titration rod thingy. That could have been a lot worse.

A test tube exploded today. It sounds cool but all that happened was the bottom just kind of fell off.

@snowcone We were using somewhat dangerous stuff so I guess it's for the best but even so I was disappointed.

@mastertdi Some dude lost a finger in the highschool I went to. It was something about a pair of cutting pliers.

@nerthos Closest I've really come to seriously hurting myself in school is burning my finger on a soldering iron or putting my hand against a belt sander. Frankly I feel like I'm not trying hard enough.

@mastertdi I think the closest I've been was this time I turned on a lathe with the plate key (it's a steel rod with an square tip) still on the plate.

@mastertdi Nah it the plate key just flew towards my leg and bounced without harm. It was just a bit painful. The lathe was in a slow gear.

@mastertdi I took 3++ armor save at level up. I've got away from really dangerous situations with only minor injuries a lot of times.

@nerthos Yeah that'd be why the school point blank refused to investigate. Didn't want the associated bad press.

@ceruleanspark You should have threatened with starting legal action against both the kid and the school if he didn't got expelled.

@ceruleanspark I thought the law over there was guilty until proven innocent or something.

@ceruleanspark Regardless, the point is to give the place a bad reputation. Despite what evidence you might have or not have, the school takes a blow if legal action is started against it and it gets to local newspapers and stuff like that.
