    1. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Genetic research is greatly hindered by things like the UN, and free information isn't going to happen without massive amounts of death.

      1. @nerthos killing everyone with a certain disease also tends to be frowned upon by the UN

        1. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Organised mass murder tends to be frowned upon by the UN, regardless of the grouping used.

          1. @ceruleanspark ya pretty much. But with the UN's constitute lately it'd be more like "Hey don't kill all those people because it will make us really really mad. please

              1. @nerthos "This one time we stood up to Iraq because it was using chemical weapons on it's own people (lol sorry syria) and then we asked America to do most of the fighting and then we asked them to do almost all of the clean up work and then we left and asked them to finish cleaning up. Now all our constituents think America is war mongerers. S-so-sorry.

        2. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual The UN frowns upon many thing and does nothing about a lot of other things it should be working on, so I'm pretty sure everyone can agree they're all around bad.

        3. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual In any case my idea is more that of isolation than that of death. It's just a matter of getting enough ground to set up a semi-independent state to relocate everyone infected to, where they can live their lives without putting anyone in risk.

          1. @nerthos I'll take the risk of being persecuted by someone claiming this is racist but if you want to do that I'd start by looking for places in central and south africa with the highest hiv count as a start up point.

            1. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Haiti has the most cases of HIV per capita as far as I'm aware, plus it's an island, and many people from there would like to leave to live in a better place, so IMO it'd be the ideal grounds for that.

    2. @oracle Sterilization isn't by itself a solution as I've said before. You can get HIV from things as little as punching someone who has the virus and suffering minor damage to your fist's skin.
