@snowcone Woks are the meaning of life.

@clayinthecarpet No, that's 42.
-
@awlditzy Yeah yeah yeah. Take your Hitchhiker's reference and try to eat it. No? Not edible? Well let me bring out my wok and quickly fry up...the best food the world has to offer. Bon appetit.
-
@clayinthecarpet Why hold back, buddy.
-
@awlditzy *shrugs* Because nobody cares.
-
@clayinthecarpet As if that's stopped you afore
-
@awlditzy Are you ...TRYING to be abrasive? Because it's working.
-
@clayinthecarpet Good! If it can work for everyone else, well, when in Rome...
-
@snowcone Of course, there are also things called jokes. Are you aware of these? :P
-
@awlditzy What are you even talking about? Care to elaborate for us?
-
@snowcone Understood, then. heh
-
@clayinthecarpet Oh almost every bloody time someone gets a wild hair up their arse about what's an arguement and what's a conversation.
-
@awlditzy I'm not sure exactly where you're going with this, but I will say one thing: I'm not like most people you've met. I don't take things the same way as others. It's harder for me to quantify your feelings through the internet, so I automatically assume their intent to be negative on most occasions. I'm assuming that right now, though I don't know why you'd do that.
-
@clayinthecarpet Actually most people assume the negative first.
-
@awlditzy And is that, indeed, what you intend within the conversation we're having?
-
@clayinthecarpet Actually it much was. I don
-
@awlditzy 't like to leave things un-answered. I find it funny that you can make something sound brash, and when someone responds in kind you're shocked. Yet when someone else makes something sound brash and you respond in kind... well does that strike you as just ok?
-
@awlditzy As I have said, I am not like most people. I sensed a feeling of negativity from you toward me, and I intended to explore it. That is all. Nothing I say in this room is meant to offend anybody. I am simply very serious in the way I type and communicate with and read people. I have my humor, but it's hard for others to notice and appreciate. I would only appreciate that you don't intend to call me out with insensitive crap, as that has never - and will never - be my intent of attendance here.
-
@clayinthecarpet If that's how you interpret it then fine. I only invite you to practise what you preach. If you're allowed to be serious, then so are we. If you word something in a way you KNOW someone won't like, don't be surprised by the result and act like the whole bloody site is out to get you. Not everyone is as unforgiving towards people's behaviour as I.
-
@awlditzy And when do you feel I have "word(ed) something in a way (I) KNOW someone won't like?" You're making a pretty large assumption there, eh?
-
@clayinthecarpet It's not just an assumption; you've seen how some people jump the gun at you, have you not?
-
@awlditzy And how is that my problem?
-
@clayinthecarpet It isn't all the time but after a while don't you stop to think that maybe you can word things in a way that aren't so absolute?
-
@awlditzy No. I am who I am and most people here have come to appreciate and respect that fact...except for you. You hold some grudge that I have yet to define. Perhaps it was my discussion with you about military memories that triggered this. I don't know, honestly. Most people here like me, though.
-
@clayinthecarpet Or maybe I'm just naturally inclined to dislike. Maybe I feel usurped, or out of place, who knows anymore.
-
@awlditzy Feel free to discuss this privately through Personal Message if you like. The mods would like to keep it out of the chat and I would very much like you to not hate me.
-
@clayinthecarpet I wonder why SO many people seem to have problems with you
clayinthecarpet likes this. -
@rarity Can we not right now?
-
@themoetyphoon okay.
-
@rarity I don't mince words, I don't accept defeat, I don't drop my point of view for anypony, and I am mentally different from most folk, and can't relate to them. Plus, I might suffer from Asperger's syndrome. That's a start.
-
@rarity Thank you <3
-
@clayinthecarpet Which you can remedy or at least work around all of those minus the possible Asperger's. You don't have to drop your point of view but you do have to learn how to socialize with people without being abrasive.
-
@clayinthecarpet Don't think of this as me instigating anything else (because I'm not), but please don't use a self-diagnosis of Asperger's to excuse anything thanks much
-
@redenchilada I just mentioned it because of its relevance to the subject matter.
-
@themoetyphoon I don't have to do anything, sir. Thanks for your interest, though.
-
@clayinthecarpet I'm just saying that some internet test going "you might have this mental disorder" doesn't let you go around saying "I might have this mental disorder" to explain/excuse your behavior. If you have an official diagnosis then I can certainly understand it, but otherwise it's just making excuses.
-
@redenchilada I getcha. I just found a huge relation to @ceruleanspark through it. He said that was basically his official test, more or less, when he got diagnosed. That hit home with me.
