Heya, new user here. I saw mention in the FAQ about being able to install plugins and whatnot for RDN: Are there any must-have add-ons that I should know about and be using? Thanks!

@inkyponi The only one I remember off the top of my head is @redenchilada's userscript that updates the timestamp so all of the messages don't just say "a few seconds ago", but I have no idea how to install it, you'd have to ask him about it.

@inkyponi That bit of language in the FAQ is a bit of a misnomer, actually. The bits about installing plugins and such were words from the software we're based off of, about users running their own versions of that software. That said, there aren't really any important addons or userscripts for the site, since all of the important functions are already on the site. Most of what exists are silly things for a select few people to have fun with.

@redenchilada I oughta edit that part of the FAQ. Or just remove it, because honestly anyone on this site who cares about that stuff is likely familiar with StatusNet from other instances already.

@djhedgehog Not as many as I'd like to, but yes, guitar. Hoping to get electric guitar, harmonica, and button accordion (chromatic). It'd be sweet to be able to play orchestral and fuller bodied instrumental ponymusic :D

@inkyponi hey i play the piano i had to teach myself though and i can play a lot of songs just with one hand. and have you ever heard of discord by the living tombstone remix i can play that and other mlp based songs just with one hand maybe i will post it on youtube then send you the link

@djhedgehog Yeah, I've heard that remix. Piano is also something I've always wanted to learn, though it's not nearly as portable. That's pretty cool!

@inkyponi there are smaller versions of the piano though they are hard to find i have 2 see the smaller one is not as good but it lasts long without needing more batteries the tall one is like a grand piano and needs more batteries http://rainbowdash.net/url/609324
