@vt3c They're more common on Windows because it has a much larger market share than the other operating systems. When the guys writing viruses decide Mac and Linux have a big enough market share, you'll see a lot more viruses for them. And they'll be much harder to deal with because a good portion of users on those operating systems have deluded themselves into believing they don't need antivirus, which as a result won't be as well-developed on those operating systems.

Of course if I was a hardcore gamer I probably would hate Macs. It's all about what you use your computer for.\

@redenchilada They really don't. They're definitely more uncommon on Macs, but the ones that DO get through are pretty damn nasty.
