@ironheartsurge The tabletop RPG?
-
@scribus Why yes, that is what I meant by Pathfinder. And by do, I meant perform superficial mods that cover my houserules in future games I run.
-
@ironheartsurge I keep trying to write my own gaming system from scratch. 100% house rules, 100% of the time!
-
@scribus Coolness. What's its focus?
-
@ironheartsurge Unattainable perfection.
-
@scribus How will it play?
-
@ironheartsurge Play!? Hell, I don't even have character generation figured out yet!
-
@scribus Best of luck, then.
-
@ironheartsurge Mostly, what I'd like is one type of die, with small variation in how many are rolled. Point-based generation and progression, instead of level-based. A flexible off-the-cuff magic system. I might actually be close to a rough alpha version in one of my notebooks... Anyway, what kind of house rules do you tend to do?
-
@scribus Things like "As a prepared caster, you gain bonus cantrips prepared each day as you would gain bonus spells per day if they followed the bloody pattern for bonus spells," and I've been wanting to try "Characters of classes that don't cast 9th-level spells or equivalent are automatically granted mythic tier 1 at character generation."

@ironheartsurge Neat.
