      1. @nerthos Elite Theory - A theory of government and politics contending that societies are divided along class lines and that an upper class elite will rule, regardless of the formal niceties of governmental organization.

        1. @chaikagaz Yeah I know what elite theory is, but I'm curious as to why you say I'd like it.

          1. @nerthos From what I gathered it seems like your kind of thing

            1. @chaikagaz I'm asking why

              1. @nerthos It seems to coincide with your ideas granted that is only from what i've gathered and most of it isn't serious

                1. @chaikagaz I consider that theory applies in the real world, there's obvious signs of it, yet it's not the ideal way to do things in my opinion. I'd rather have a moral or intellectual elite in power than an economic one. Or a qualified democracy for that matter. Grant the power to vote only to people who know what they're doing, thus reducing greatly the risk of corruption in government and spread of it.

                  1. @nerthos but if only those who now how to vote can vote isn't it advantageous to them to ensure the system prevents the rest from learning to do so?

                    1. @chaikagaz No. And even if it did it is still better than having the ignorant masses decide solely because they're many.
