@scoot yes it is shut up
-
@rarity It costs 15 mana are you kidding me
-
@scoot there are tricks to get it out and you know it
-
@rarity Tap three plains, oblivion ring.
-
@rarity you mean green mana ramp?
-
@aponymous2 Elf ramp or even better Quicksilver amulet/Elvish piper.
-
@scoot does oblivion ring go around the protection from colored spells
-
@rarity Oblivion ring isn't a coloured spell, it's a coloured permanent.
-
@scoot pretty sure the term "spell" applies to all cards? I dunno though you know more about the game. Like, I'm pretty sure even creatures are spells though
-
@rarity No. Spells are being cast, permanents are on the battlefield.
-
@rarity You really can Oblivion Ring Emrakul.
-
@cinnamonswirl dang
-
@scoot theres ways for black and green to get around worldfire so im cool
-
@aponymous2 Like what
-
@rarity I managed to hard-cast Emrakul during a tutorial game at one of my pony meetups
-
@scoot discard
-
@aponymous2 I dont see how that counts as "getting around worldfire", you'd have to know they had it in hand.
-
@scoot >2012+2 >Not having Worldfire in hand at all times >ISHYGDDT
-
@cinnamonswirl My Dragon deck runs 1 worldfire and I seem to draw it 90% of all games actually
-
@scoot That's because it's one of /my/ Worldfires. It is imbued with my mighty power.
-
@cinnamonswirl Everyone who has used that deck has felt an overwhelming urge to cast worldfire when they draw it, so I believe you
-
@scoot you need mana and that card in your hand to cast it so weather i stop you from putting mana down or get that card out of your hand i win i try to play agro G/B so i can keep up so a decent hand wouldnt take me a whole lot of turns
-
@aponymous2 if not win then at least stop that card from happening
-
@aponymous2 You haven't understood my issue here, when I say something "beats" worldfire, I mean that when the opponent has the card, you need to respond to it. You are "preventing worldfire" instead, which is different. Any loser can do land destruction to keep your opponents fun at bay.
-
@scoot agreed but still effective
-
@scoot Was there ever any doubt.
