@cinnamonswirl I just don't like the idea that my favorite characters in MLP are Lesbians just because people need to ship couples. Plus Rainbow is considered a lesbian just cause she is Rainbow-colored.

@randomkid Also her voice, short hair and athletic interests. People in this fandom are just /so/ open minded. Always challenging stereotypes and such.

@cinnamonswirl Just because a girl is a tomboy, doesn't mean that she is a lesbian. My cousin is a tomboy and she got married to this guy a while back.

@randomkid as a former fanfiction writer, i can tell you that im writing a relationship and not a sexual preference. I wrote a quick Rarishy last year and my prompt to myself was why Rarity would be interested in Fluttershy, not why Rarity is interested in females. Do you understand the difference? If all you can think about is the sexual preference then thats not on me

@randomkid theres a couple hundred species that do, and if you cite science as a reason to dislike gay horses you may also have a problem with their flying, magic, ability to talk...

@princelypublictimeline Well I can understand magic to exist in a world but I wouldn't imagine the gay gene as a gene that would help the species survive. Plus I don't think that ponies have the tech we do to allow them to implant sperm with out mating.
