@critialcloudkicker i played some of FO 3, i tried the 3rd person perspective and it was almost as bad as oblivion's

@mushi I must be honest here, and say that I did not even use the 3rd person camera unless when I was checking around corners, looking for things which are rather hard to spot, or checking if I were in fact limping if I seemed to walk slower than usual

@critialcloudkicker i try the 3rd perspective because, in my opinion, that makes games much more enjoyable. But bethesda doesnt seem to care for that

@mushi I really do not see how a game can be more enjoyable when you have a constant "there is an enchanted hummingburd behind my caracter, and I look through it's eyes" feeling. Maybe you have been playing too much "traditional" RPG's

@mushi If you're on the PC, there's a patch to make third person not absolutely awful. It re-positions the camera so you can actually aim, and fixes the whole "your character is continually skiing" thing

@mushi Um. You... can access the minimap with your pip boy. in the 3rd button (data) first tab from the left. If you're stuck, load to last checkpoint.
