@critialcloudkicker @pony It's like saying: "I'm invincible! Noone can defeat me!" and then falling over in a death pit. It's tragic and you look like a fool. I guess noone wants to be remembered this way.

@critialcloudkicker Sometimes they'll write in the description that they'll be continuing it, but it's been a year since that time. Sometimes they'll mark it as "on hiatus" and not come back to it for over a year. The more considerate ones mark it "cancelled" (I think that's an option) since they admit they won't be returning.

@pony That's pretty much only the issue for people who crate fanfiction on a chapter by chapter basis or something ?

@critialcloudkicker I did tell readers that I might continue a one-shot fic once, kind of, so I'm guilty of that, but I made it clear that it would be a separate story and was unlikely.
