@beatstrings How do you take your coffee?
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:35:54 UTC from web-
@northernnarwhal Cold weather = Ice coffee, Hot Weather = Hot coffee with no milk.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:36:38 UTC from web-
@beatstrings I always have mine black these days
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:37:46 UTC from web-
@northernnarwhal Sort of more soothing without dairy. Fantastic when you're just letting time pass in deep thought.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:39:29 UTC from web-
@beatstrings I'm generally more of a tea person anyway though so I don't drink that much coffee. But yeah, hot drinks are great for thinking or looking out the window on a rainy day.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:40:33 UTC from web-
@northernnarwhal Sorry I have to say this, for me earl gray is the best tea for me.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:43:28 UTC from web-
@beatstrings There's nothing wrong with Earl Grey, as a matter of fact I like it a lot. I'm not sure if I have a definitive favourite but I like a lot of fruity teas.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:44:43 UTC from web-
@northernnarwhal I'm a sucker for fruity flavored drink. But hot drinks such as tea. Earl gray, just flat out. I will try other flavors but yeah.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:46:22 UTC from web-
@beatstrings I actually don't like a lot of fruity drinks and if I'm having a cold drink it's probably water, but I like a lot of my fruity teas because they're natural flavours and don't taste all sugary.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:47:46 UTC from web-
@northernnarwhal Oh, natural do seem to fit your standard. Plus, trust me when I say my family rarely drinks water. All they ever drink are either flavored or caffeine intensive. Addiction to such things apparently runs in our bloodline.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:49:46 UTC from web-
@beatstrings For the most part my family is pretty healthy with its drinking but my brother kinda likes Pepsi and I might have a can of pop from time to time.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:51:48 UTC from web-
@northernnarwhal My grandfather drinks only natural fruit juice. His favorite among them are prune juice. And I can't believe at the age of 61 he outrun me on an uphill race. (the hill is ridiculously 45 degrees)
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:55:39 UTC from web-
@beatstrings Your grandpa is 61? My dad is 59 =O
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:57:17 UTC from web-
@northernnarwhal Oops, didn't say it was during 2006 (timecapsule story) we stayed there for about a month. Thing is, I wanted to lose weight so he challenge me to jog with him, every morning, t'was fun after the sweat and I thank him for my better health condition.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:00:07 UTC from web-
@beatstrings Funnily enough that only makes your grandpa 10 years older than my dad. Also how much do you weigh now if you don't mind me asking?
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:02:09 UTC from web-
@northernnarwhal 200, sometimes goes 198, but I don't know. By the way I'm 6" tall. My weight back in 2006 was ridiculous, 230 or something, I was like a barrel with hair.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:05:50 UTC from web-
@beatstrings I'm currently around 5'6" and 138 lbs
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:08:40 UTC from web -
@beatstrings Losing 30 lbs is really tough though, good on you man!
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:11:32 UTC from web-
@northernnarwhal @criticalcloudkicker Thanks. But... how can I say this, I don't have any photos with me before. As well as after. I weight myself bi-weekly and I lift weights every day. Hmmm, okay, this sounds so vague to put in perspective it's not believable. I'm sorry, I'll try to find my class picture for you.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:18:04 UTC from web-
@beatstrings Aw, too bad. I am trying to output my energy per day, and reducing my sleep per day. Also going back to work ( although as a kitchen-chef/aid, that does not help a lot ) ... I have a trainer bike I will bike on for 22 minutes every time I think my body will not break by doing so
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:20:06 UTC from web-
@critialcloudkicker Your routine helps your fitness. But my aim is a little different to yours. You see, I was borderline obese back then, I aimed to weight as much muscle compared to fat. Plus I hate sweating while simply walking. So, to put advice to your routine, simply weight lift for 10-20 minutes before you recuperate (sleep, nap, chill). :)
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:24:03 UTC from web-
@beatstrings Although I have the feeling that I am at least 115 KGS now, I am also on antibiotics, so I will take it as easy as my body asks of me. Fun fact though, noone thought I was fat untill they saw my hairy belly ( must be my broad shoulders and lumberjack arms )
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:26:56 UTC from web-
@critialcloudkicker I have broad shoulders and semi-big (lol what.) legs. We all have this body constructions that seems to delude us as fit until we notice that lump in our bodies when we sit down.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:29:25 UTC from web-
@beatstrings Heh, yup, that describes my current body quite well

@beatstrings @northernnarwhal I have yet to find a delicious coffee or tea... Anything interesting I have yet to try?
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:44:49 UTC from web-
@metaltao Coffee is an acquired taste, if you don't like it now you probably won't like it in the future unless you start making yourself drink it a lot. As for tea see if you can find a good peach or berry tea, those are really good.

@beatstrings Yo, good morning man
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:37:11 UTC from web-
@nerthos Hello, am planning on buying dog food for Inkie, Blinkie, Dinkie, Clyde and Hachie.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:38:39 UTC from web-
@beatstrings Oh sorry! Where are my manners! Good morning!
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:39:43 UTC from web-
@metaltao Good morning metalhead. :3
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:43:59 UTC from web-

@beatstrings I bought two bags yesterday. How do you stand five dogs? I have four and that's enough for me to start disliking the species.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:41:07 UTC from web-
@nerthos I don't know, being alone with them kind of makes them happy. In this secluded area, I think of them thinking of me as someone to trust their lives with. Plus, I taught them to go number 2 only inside the bathroom. So it's not that bad.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:42:45 UTC from web-
@beatstrings My issue with many dogs is that they shift into pack mentality and become intensely irritating
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:44:50 UTC from web-
@nerthos Oh that? I usually cage them when they start going against each other. Sometimes they gang up on the youngest that's when I start separating them and just feed them, in assumption that they're just really frustrated from hunger.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:47:55 UTC from web-
@beatstrings No, I don't mind when they fight with themselves. The issue with pack mentality is that they decide to do stupid stuff and you have to keep watch on them.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:51:43 UTC from web-
@nerthos Oh, right, sorry, mixed up definition. Well, if you have a cage that'll be great, but for the most part, well, needless to say you have to deal with it yourself. Since I'm still not sure how to actually discipline your kind of dog. So sorry if I attempt to be Philippine's dog whisperer.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:54:13 UTC from web-
@beatstrings My dad's dogs are too big for cages, and to be honest the only reason they're still there is because being my dad's, I don't have the authority to rid myself of them.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 21:58:39 UTC from web-
@nerthos Damn, well the only thing I can say is that if you know dogs pick up on your attitude throughout the day. (eg. you're calm, they're calm too, you're psycho, they're likely that too) I hope you just keep your cool and let them sense you as the role model of behavior.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:04:00 UTC from web-
@beatstrings Tried that before, didn't work since my father is a dog person and so is lenitent with them. I know they can sense how people feel, so at this point I just show them burning rage whenever they cause trouble and they run and hide in their pens.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:05:52 UTC from web-
@nerthos Huh, if that's the case, ask your father if he can give you more advice on making them calm...er. Not handling them. Assuming they're still young and like belly rubs, head pats and stuff. So at least you would know how to set the mood when they're plotting revenge by annoying your soul.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:09:29 UTC from web-
@beatstrings I know how to deal with them. That's not the issue. The issue is that my dad likes them too much. He can't give me advice and won't take mine, so I just wait until those beasts age and die.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:13:10 UTC from web-
@nerthos That's life, you get a dog, they die. And you get another one.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:14:19 UTC from web-
@beatstrings My dad won't wait until they all die to get a new one, though, and so the new dogs pick up the bad attitudes of the old ones.
Tuesday, 08-Jul-14 22:15:31 UTC from web-
@nerthos That's just sad. :<
