  1. I'm cosplaying as Ghirahim to a Zelda symphonic concert this weekend. Just throwing that out there.

    1. @thelastgherkin Ghirahim was a great villain, he was essentially the David Bowie of the Zelda universe.

      1. @northernnarwhal Ghirahim is basically the best fictional character.

        1. @thelastgherkin It's too bad Demise made no sense and was sloppily thrown in at the end

          1. @northernnarwhal I don't know, I liked it. Got the smackdown lain on him in two different time periods and that badass swordfight.

            1. @thelastgherkin The battle was alright but he was just sort of introduced at the very end as the bad guy behind the curtains as opposed to Ghirahim who had been developed the whole ride, so I wasn't too keen on him

              1. @northernnarwhal Yeah, can you imagine a bigger bad guy from behind the curtains hijacking the plans of Agahnim, or Zant, or Onox, or Veran or Vaati oh wait

                1. @thelastgherkin lol Vaati reminded me of Sombra but without the crystal obsession.

                    1. @thelastgherkin XD god what were they THINKING on that...

                2. @thelastgherkin That doesn't justify it. In fact it's another reason I love Wind Waker so much, you have a clearly established enemy and it doesn't pull that behind the curtain nonsense.

                  1. @northernnarwhal I think the fact that resurrecting Demise was Ghirahim's entire motivation for the whole game pretty much justifies it on its own, without the need to cite Zelda game conventions.

                    1. @thelastgherkin Except that we don't even know who the hell he is until the very end. And ends up being this generic villain who's main purpose is to be big and menacing. The ending could have been handled better in my opinion.
