      @purplephish20 I love that flag. I might be Canadian, but my second favourite place is definitely the UK. I find it amazing that we have the largest gate at buckingham.

          @purplephish20 for a guy who likes straight lines and symmetry, the Union Jack is beautiful. It is a very large part of a reason i would ever get a Mini. You can get it so it is painted all british :P

                @techdisk42 Did you even read that? You just proved my point. "Technically, all Union Jacks are Union Flags, but not vice versa. It is a fine point and one that was much argued over, but it is beyond question that the habit of treating the two terms as interchangeable developed early, and it would not be difficult to multiply instances of individuals who undoubtedly did understand the distinction nevertheless following common usage and using the term Union Jack when Union Flag is clearly meant." Then it goes on to say blah blah blah language changes etc.
