@kumo To be human is to be flawed, but I don't believe humans are intrinsically bad. Perhaps I'm just being naive, but who's to say?

@kumo I wouldn't say I'm pessimistic or optimisitic. Maybe something along the lines of an ethical cognitivist, but from a non-nihilist perspective.

@kumo I choose neither and look at it more from a propositional point of view. It generally means less assumptions.

@nethernarwhal i do know that not following any of the extreme cases is the better, but i always fall into the pessimism, might be related to my not so high confidense

@kumo Fair enough, for a while I was particularly misanthropic and to that extent pessimistic. Though I felt it was too counter-productive for me, but I can see how low confidence and self esteem would lead to that perspective.

@nethernarwhal Yep, it's called ignorance. 100% of people suffer from it in diffrent forms on a daily basis...Maybe I should start a fund raiser...
