@scribus Dat creepy pasta wiki
-
@scribus Eeyup. Nice wallpaper.
-
@macpony55 Yeah, well, you know. Can only watch "The Poughkeepsie Tapes" so many times.
-
@scribus What a cheater obscuring your chat window. Twilight is staring at me funny. Nice to see I'm not the only one who tends to keep the right side of the screen for chat windows. Linux or summat, all I know is it's not Windows.
-
@scribus dat twilight...
-
@scribus xD
-
@redenchilada It's other people's names and faces, I don't feel right just tossing that out to the tubes willy-nilly.
-
@scribus Xfce is never cool. (I'm kidding of course; while I prefer tiling WMs, that or Openbox are the only non-tiled ones I would consider.)
-
@redenchilada I use the right side for chats too.
-
@bitshift Ouch. XD It's not what I'd call the best, but it beats the hell out of Unity, and KDE has always been buggy to me, and any of these other ones I just haven't had the time to play with and I need something I *know* works, so that's how I settled in.
-
@nlghtmaremoon And how! ;-D
-
@scribus Fair enough. I redacted my IP address off my rainmeter and my real name off my home folder.
-
@scribus Yeah, Xfce has nice defaults without being uncustomizable. It's nice, but it's not a tiling wm, and for me that's a deal-breaker.
-
@eaglehooves I was about to check what my home folder icon said, and there isn't one workspace with it visible. XD
-
@bitshift I only recently got a large enough monitor to break out of my "full screen, all things, all the time" method, so tiling still isn't really a thing I do much of.
-
@scribus I know for a fact that mine says psquid because I'm always psquid, everywhere (except on here, strangely), unless it's already taken. (So yes, if you see a psquid on some online thing, 9 times out of 10 it's probably me.)
-
@scribus I change mine up now and then to mess with people. Rename that, kill rainmeter, change the start button and wallpaper, and shuffle a few icons between the desktop and the unused folder and you're a new person. 'Accidentally' leave that on a screencap and people will bite on whatever you want.
-
@bitshift Far out. Turns out, mine says "Home." XD
-
@scribus I do tiling with a default of "fullscreen ALL the things", but I can easily break it into multiple sections when I need them. Works well. :)
-
@bitshift I prefer stacking so I can have a window sitting on top of irc and easily switch to it via lazy focusing. It's a good way to watch mlp episodes and chat at the same time.
-
@toksyuryel Fun fact, when I was doing my season 2 catchup (just after joining here), I had RDN (via IdentiCurse in super-compact mode) in one window, and videos in the other, with exactly that layout. Otherwise I found myself having to pause to switch over to chatting, which was dumb.
-
@bitshift EPIC FAIL
-
@bitshift "focus follows mouse" turned on with "raise on focus" turned off = happiness ☺
-
@toksyuryel People actually use other combinations than that? :P
-
@bitshift People who don't know it exists. It's never the default setting ☹
