( George Orwell ) Watchmen ( alan moore and dave something ) I Robot ( and that other book by Isaac Asimov I can not remember ) Slaugherhause-Five ( K Vonnegut... sorta eerie in my opinion ) The Dark Tower Series ( Stephen King ) Poolbasis Zebra ( *googles English title ) Ice Station Zebra ( Alistair MacLean... might want to look up his other books if you like/liked that ) 2001 a space odyssey ( CClarke ... I have not seen the movie ) A Clockwork Orange ( A Burgess, again, have not seen the movie ). Starship Troopers ( A. Heinlein... one of the few books in which I preferred the movie due to mainly nostalgia ) The Moon is a hard Mistress ( same author ) Time Machine ( H.G. Wells ) 20000 Leagues under the sea ( Jules Verne ) Mistborn trilogy ( Brandon Sanderson, it's a bit of an oddball IMHO ) ... Ringworld ( Larry Niven, only read the first book, did not fancy me enough ) ... I could go on, I lived in a library

@critialcloudkicker I heard that Animal Farm is sometimes given as homework by certain school systems in the USA... is there any truth to that and it's flaming disproposition towards a certain set of churchgoers ?
