    1. @awlditzy Holy mangoes, that's gorgeous. Over here it's kindy cloudy and murky.

      1. @northernnarwhal That was yesterday, along with the rain :D It's also about 6-7C about now, just cool enough to get a hat on for running. I seemingly lost my thin-profile gloves however :c

        1. @awlditzy Yeah, it's around the same here so the morning bike rides are brisk and refreshing

          1. @northernnarwhal Glad to have a ski mask for the later months, that's for sure.

            1. @awlditzy I wanna get some ski goggles to bike with during the morning (mostly because they look kinda cool)

              1. @northernnarwhal Good idea. I'll take winter time runs (when the temperature won't freeze the lungs that is) in my old fatigues and the skimask, look like a right Spetsnaz.

                1. @awlditzy I likely won't bike at all during the winter but it'll be great for if I do any running myself or for during the year

                  1. @northernnarwhal Gotta keep up that cardio somehow. Suppose that's why people get gym memberships so they don't have to rely on the temperatures during winter, eh?

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 22:26:00 UTC from web
                    1. @awlditzy Yeah, I actually got my official card for my school's weight room today. Some outdoor cardio is great during the winter though because the colder temperature helps with RBC production

                      1. @northernnarwhal Well, the problem is when it gets cold enough that your intake of constant cold air frosts your respiratory systeme. Not that it gets *that* cold for more than a few days at a time where you have to worry about it with just walking, but for a long enough run..

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 22:35:23 UTC from web
                        1. @awlditzy No no no, that's the point. After approximately 2 weeks of working out in the cold your body makes more red blood cells to compensate for the respiratory disadvantage and you get better workouts, so as long as you're consistent winter is a good time of year

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 22:37:58 UTC from web
                          1. @northernnarwhal Oh.

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 22:39:02 UTC from web
                            1. @awlditzy Yeah, arguably one of the more useful pieces of info I picked up in biology last year

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 22:42:40 UTC from web
                              1. @northernnarwhal why the cherries didn't basic teach that, or school in Promezhitsy, who knows.

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 22:43:34 UTC from web
                                1. @awlditzy It will certainly come in more handy than having to memorize the entire bloody chemical process of respiration.

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 22:46:23 UTC from web
                                  1. @northernnarwhal You never know, you could be kidnapped by someone and they put a sword to your neck and ask you the order of respiration or off with your head.

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 22:48:39 UTC from web
                                    1. @awlditzy I'd probably ask them why the hell they didn't just Google it before getting my head cut off with a smug grin forever plastered on it

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 22:50:01 UTC from web
                                      1. @northernnarwhal Don't hold out your ams for them either.

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 22:50:22 UTC from web
                                        1. @awlditzy They'd probably be tied behind my back or something anyway

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 22:54:18 UTC from web
                                          1. @northernnarwhal Well, if you're thinking those videos that get released they're not cutting as much as sawing, so they don't have to worry as much about the croppie flop.

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 22:55:37 UTC from web
                                            1. @awlditzy Oh, well that was what I meant anyway. A lot harder to cleanly decapitate a human being than movies would have people believe, lots of bone to get through.

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 22:58:47 UTC from web
                                            2. @awlditzy What's a croppie flop, some kind of dance craze?

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 22:58:52 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                              1. @scribus A rather colourful way I had heard explained of the body's nerves going into disarray when the brain suddenly gets severed.

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 23:00:13 UTC from web
                                                1. @awlditzy But could we make it into a dance craze?

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 23:03:36 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                                  1. @scribus everybody do the flop!

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 23:04:19 UTC from web
                                                    1. @awlditzy *flop*

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 23:04:30 UTC from web
                                                    2. @awlditzy It's like the worm, only less coordinated!

Thursday, 06-Nov-14 23:05:32 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                                      1. @scribus It's avant-garde like everything is today.
