I hated the idea of Zelda DLC for Mario Kart 8, but having actually played Hyrule Circuit it's super fun.

@ellistia It's the little touches that do it for me. Have you hit all three switches to see the Master Sword yet?

@thelastgherkin Not yet. I actually didn't manage to work that out until I watched the replay of my 150cc (third) playthrough. So I tried it in Mirror mode but kept messing up because of going 2fast. But yeah, stuff like that, essentially putting a Zelda-esque puzzle on the track, as well as the rupees and item sound effects of course, is what did it for me too.

@ellistia I didn't notice at first but it sounds like the item randomiser noise after you pick up a question block is a sped up version of the "about to open a treasure chest" fanfare.
