    1. @renovatedkitchen ... Is there an intake in that car's headlight?

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 03:39:32 UTC from web
      1. @techdisk Yup. I bought that intake. Want to get an idea of how big my new turbo is in its diameter? Stack 2 pop cans on top of each other and add some bit on top of that. I wouldn't put my hand infront of it while spooling even on a dare.

        1. @renovatedkitchen is replacing your headlight with literally a hole even legal? Not that I care, but holy crap. that's awesome.

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 03:42:48 UTC from web
          1. @techdisk For the street, I use an air filter. When at the track, I have to install the parachute mount and replace the headlight so I dont collapse the air filter.

            1. @renovatedkitchen Sorry, i'm not well versed in car. That means you have a normal headlight for the street and a hole on the track, right?

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 03:59:45 UTC from web
              1. @techdisk Yessir. Reason being, next year, the car will be fast enough to make a Bugatti/Ferrari/Lamborghini look like its standing still, literally. Did you see the youtube video of my car last year?

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:09:24 UTC from web
                1. @renovatedkitchen I remember seeing a video of you driving from your house to somewhere. It was loud.

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:10:32 UTC from web
                2. @renovatedkitchen It's funny, because one of my professors drives a Lambo and raves about it whenever given the chance.

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:11:13 UTC from web
                  1. @techdisk Lol. Lambo's are nice looking, but slow as. My convertible would take it without breaking a sweat.

      2. @techdisk I use track tires on the street with all wheel drive, and it will burn out all 4 wheels while on the highway while yawning.

    2. @vt3c Good. you? check the posts I sent you

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:10:25 UTC from web
    3. @renovatedkitchen Holy twinkies that's fast. I wish the camera was pointed to the right so I could see how far you pulled ahead.

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:14:41 UTC from web
    4. @renovatedkitchen Took me a second to figure out what that means, but now I see. and wow. I need to see that car in person at some point.

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:20:09 UTC from web
      1. @techdisk By any means. You still have my cell number?

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:20:48 UTC from web
        1. @renovatedkitchen Yup. Now do I still hgave my phone.... yup. It was on a couch. lol

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:21:59 UTC from web
          1. @techdisk Nice. Well, if you just want to see it, text me and you're welcome to check it out and I can show you the things I've changed. Or if you want to come with me in the summer to the drag strip, let me know. I'm an extremely cautious driver. Don't know if your parents will be okay knowing that its fast enough that it needs a parachute to stop while at the drag strip. LOL

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:24:46 UTC from web
            1. @renovatedkitchen I think they should be fine. as long as they actually meet you. but yeah, i've never been to a drag strip, much less actually going down one XD.

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:40:24 UTC from web
              1. @techdisk Unfortunately I cant take you down the drag strip (car is too fast for passengers) but even my other COMPLETELY non car friends liked it. Everyone is really friendly and you get to see some cool cars go really fast. Sometimes even see jet powered cars!

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:42:06 UTC from web
                1. @renovatedkitchen ooooooooo i like jet powered ANYTHING. but, then again, who doesn't?

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:43:54 UTC from web
                  1. @techdisk I recorded it too! The guy asked if he could go infront of me. :)

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:44:39 UTC from web
      2. @techdisk (that as in how the slip works)

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:21:01 UTC from web
    5. @vt3c My closest drag strip is over an hours drive away. Worth every minute though. The closer I get the more excited and emptier the roads get! :)) Cant wait till I get to pull the cord for the chute...in a convertible :3

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:44:12 UTC from web
      1. @renovatedkitchen I heard convertibles were slighty inferior to coupes because of the lowered rigidity due to the lack of roof... but, then again, I heard this literally from a walkthrough to an old Need For Speed game, so i'm taking that with a grain of salt.

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:47:54 UTC from web
        1. @techdisk It's true. They are also much heavier. But mine is getting a roll cage welded in, so it wont flex. Plus, its just a straight line car.

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:48:50 UTC from web
          1. @renovatedkitchen Then Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed ISN'T lying!

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:50:18 UTC from web
            1. @techdisk My childhood days spinning out classic 911s with the arrow keys were not in vain!

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:51:34 UTC from web
            2. @techdisk Yup. But, once its got a roll cage, its no different at that point.

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:52:17 UTC from web
              1. @renovatedkitchen Hmm. too bad I couldn't add a rollcage to my virtual cars. but then again an original Porsche 356 Cabriolet with a rollcage would look pretty silly.

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:56:22 UTC from web
                1. @techdisk Looks silly? How about a purple convertible with a roll cage? :P

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:56:59 UTC from web
                  1. @renovatedkitchen but yours is fast enough to nullify any silliness. also purple is an awesome colour.

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:58:31 UTC from web
                    1. @techdisk Its that kind of car that people would ignore until they realize just how fast it is. Its purple, has a tan top and the paint on the front bumper is all chipped :P. Very "sleeper" looking

                      1. @renovatedkitchen I love anything that looks completely inconspicuous but is a beast underneath. It's why I want to put a high end gaming PC inside an old white Dell case from 1998.

                        1. @techdisk Put innards for a decent laptop inside an HP laptop case. Kappa

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 05:05:26 UTC from web
                        2. @techdisk Its awesome because of how unsuspecting it is.

On that note, I never finished it, but I was doing a gaming PC build inside a plywood computer case

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 05:06:21 UTC from web
                          1. @renovatedkitchen I've been meaning to build a PC since highschool started, and i'm now in second year college. ugh.

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 05:07:38 UTC from web
                            1. @techdisk Luckily for me, my line of work is pretty much gonna require it once I go off to college, so I won't be able to put it off.

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 05:08:30 UTC from web
    6. @vt3c I know. Because its a purple, 4 cyl convertible. :P I need a cage for it this year too. Its too fast for no cage already. The track officials werent impressed that I was missing the safety features :P

Sunday, 07-Dec-14 04:47:01 UTC from web
    7. @vt3c About half the times I went to the track, the tech guy saw my car and just waved me on
