      @saintnichawlas Nirvana aren't necessarily bad, just grossly overrated. They popularized the Seattle scene and were therefore were given credit for the grunge movement despite other groups doing what they were doing at the same time and better. Also, Kurt Cobain's death is often romanticized and gave the band this tragic image separate from their music that is completely sensationalized. So they really just receive absurd amounts of praise and attention.

          @saintnichawlas Eh, I do personally enjoy their music (Bleach is a pretty great album, go figure it would be on Sub Pop Records too). They're actually pretty easy to like. I just don't love Nirvana, and I sure as hell wouldn't swear by the group the way their hardcore fans do.

                  @saintnichawlas It's funny because usually the kids I see who love Nirvana are the "music is dead" and "I was born in the wrong generation types" who are too short sighted to listen to anything that isn't strictly rock n roll.
