@wiipon3 I thought they just dropped Guitar Hero. Even if they don't make any more rock bands, it's still getting it across the Rock Band airwaves. I like alot of the fan music, but I REALLY hate Living Tombstone and especially that song. I would literally prefer ANYONE besides him getting popular.

@widget The original's wonderful. Really, really do not like Tomb's version of it at all. But at the very least, we've got our foot in the door now. Hopefully this leads to some of the better music getting out there too.

@abigpony well im not a huge fan of tombstones work...but it is nice to see that kind of accomplishment. I mean it looks good on "Bronies" overall repetoir IMO.

@wiipon3 But noone likes Tombstone. Non-bronies hate him because he's the biggest name they hear from the fandom and even they think he sucks. I mean, I get that it's nice to see bronies getting bigger, but Tombstone...?

@mrdragon TRue that...but what if the fandom expands and grows into everything? I mean its a scary possibility. Ponies can be anything, do anything, and become anything. (thanks a lot cutiemark) I understand your say in keeping "within" the fandom, but what if there's nothing "Outside" the fandom after some time? :3 think about it.

@widget Good Ol' Days is godawful in my opinion. 99% of his music sounds like the same crappy beat over and over again and the guy himself just thrives off his fame. The song that I DO like by him is that Dr. Whooves one he did with whatever his name. That one was pretty good and didn't sound the same.

@wiipon3 MandoPony and AcousticBrony, Tarby, Mic, Eurobeat, Alex S, Makkon, Glaze (Toaster), etc. Tombstone probably gets recognition because he's been a professional since before this fandom started.

@wiipon3 I prefer to think about it like this, I'm sick of the fandom being a cult. We force things on other outside of the fandom and stick our noses in honestly many places we just do not belong. We shouldn't 'force' this idiotic ideology of love and tolerate on to people who don't watch the show. The other part is that a good half is not a lot more are just bandwagoning on this fandom, the moment it starts to die down or something 'better' comes alone they will jump ship and sod off. I've been in over a year and I've seen more then enough of my share of reasons why we are actually hated so much.

@mrdragon There's not really that much you can do about it at this point, honestly. Too many people have gotten the idea that "liking this show will make you HIP and RADICAL" or something, and they're gonna ride the horse for as long as they get fame and/or fortune out of it. Pushing it to anything with a pulse is one of the prime methods of acquiring said fame/fortune for them, even if it hurts the impression of the overall fandom. Sad but true facts about life; we're just another meme to a significant chunk of the population.

@mrdragon I've taken to zoning out the idiots of the fandom and just treating the whole thing like the fandom it should be. I make stuff about ponies, yea, and sometimes I bring it up in other communities, yea, but _everyone_ does that with their interests. I just try not to be pushy about it.

@redenchilada I'm on my last legs on-line really, RDN will be my last ship to sail. And I will go down with her too. After this I'll be focusing on my real life 100% and keeping my on-line life to a bare minimum. Been on this damn thing for 9 years now and done sod all in real life. I have a family to start come next year so what happens to the fandom I've really just left to what it does. It's been a good two years, but it's really (from my point of view from what it used to be) dying down a bit.

@mrdragon *shrug* We're past the frenzy of the initial fandom, it seems. The people who didn't really care have left, and the people who stuck around have lost the novelty of the whole thing. It's kind of grown stale and the series is honestly due to finish so we can stop trying to focus on it all the time.

@mrdragon I honestly stopped caring after the first season. I watched the episodes once so I could have something to talk about that weekend, and then most haven't gotten a second view from me. At this point I'll honestly say I'm just sticking around for the sake of the fandom and I could care less what the show does.

@redenchilada I think I skipped a few episodes of the second season and not rewatched any. I'm just here for this community, I've been here for a year now (counting the one month before I actually made an account) and I've had some hard times that RDN has happily helped me with. And in return I [i]helped[/i] (I use the word lightly because I know a few see what I've done to this place as hinder it) RDN out of it's hole.

@widget I woulda said the same thing last September, but honestly, how long can the show remain fresh? Ed, Edd n Eddy had 65 episodes (and a few specials) and it was a perfect number. I'd honestly be fine if FiM lasted that long.

@redenchilada That's always the best! Like how Avatar: TLA went out with a spectacular finale. And on the 7th day the fandom saw that it was good and rested. (The series would later return just as awesome, though!)
