          @scribus Damn, I love Jimi Hendrix. And even despite his popularity I honestly believe the dude deserves every ounce of respect and critical acclaim he's received, the dude was a god on the guitar. When I was a kid I didn't really "get" his music but as I grew older and developed a burning love for psychedelia and blues rock I realized how much Hendrix did for both genres and really what a damn good player he was. His tone was just fabulous too, pretty much took something that was previously considered "undesirable" and made it a new standard.

            @northernnarwhal Yeah, it took me a while to really understand his significance. I guess youth doesn't really give the most context....
