@ceruleanspark *argues about the possibility of love between species* The real issue is that we don't understand their language, so we can't be sure we're not hurting them mentally. I'm still pro anti-bestiality laws though, animals need to be protected.

@greydragon412 oh, alright. His religion tells him to speak out against these things, but I choose not to. My.. umm.. way with words would just make it worse, and I would never do something like that on RDN.

@dezzierose @greydragon412 that is, I don't bring up controversial issues related to my faith, but if they arise and I allow others to steamroll what I believe in without saying anything, I feel that's wrong. Even if all I can do is say "I believe..." without any justification, Itry to do at least that. It's not about convincing others, but supporting those who believe differently, even if they choose to remain silent.

@dezzierose I started out on Bulletin Board Systems discussing this sort of thing. It gave me a lot of practice and was really nice because it was slow paced and i could measure my words carefully.
