Another story rejected by EqD, and can't find where I'm supposed to go for my student loan exit counseling. FML

@knightcommander i'm told my story is pretty good, but it would get turned down in a heartbeat by EQD. It has a small core following on FimFiction though, and that's all that really matters to me.

@knightcommander Strive to write Disney style and quality, and every site will want your fiction. Mine won't get on EQD unless I heavily revamp my first chapter to not be so dry and lame. If you're writing crossover, or gore, or human-related, or anything involving Equestrian political turmoil, then you'll have to work twice as hard to get on EQD. And for the record, "Cupcakes" exists, therefore life is not fair.

@cajunbrony23 we're both green when it comes to writing, but I have a weapon that is helping me: Fire in Fiction. Whenever someone looks at your work and says "oh it's dry" or "not really a page-turner," this book explains what is in good writing that makes those pages turn in a juicy manner. If you read mine, you'll notice a significant step-up in quality from Chapter 2 to Chapter 3, because Chapter 3 was when I first started reading fire in Fiction. Especially since you're writing an adventure story, you'll get a lot of mileage off of learning how to write tension into narrative. I'm learning all this right now too, so I can't speak much on it myself.

@cajunbrony23 Make sure you get someone to look over for spelling and grammar before posting it. Aside from that, I think something that jumps out as unusual is MLP establishes her as a fictitious character, and your story features Daring Do interacting with real ponies. This is something that must be done with caution.
