  1. Today's tale of white entitlement comes from my childhood. When I was moving from primary to secondary school, kids who were "gifted and talented" were offered the chance to attend a summer school at the secondary to acclimatise them to their new surroundings. One of the boys there had a mom who - having caught wind that gifted and talented children were getting special treatment - demanded her son be able to attend the summer school even though he wasn't going to that secondary school.
