@crusader8 Sorta/kinda? I joined a while ago, but even though I visit somewhat often, it's hard for me to actually post and have a conversation with someone, lol. People tend to be too wrapped up in their own conversations with other people and I hate to intrude on that.

@crusader8 Ooo where're you going? I've actually never played Warhammer in terms of the RTS (maybe I should sometime), but I have played the MMO which was fun for while. c: And I'm actually not all the into long conversations, I'm a small talk kinda person. you know? :B I think it's because of my ADD, lol.

@nerthos Well like this morning for example the 4 or so people that were on were all talking to this one girl about how she can improve herself, which seemed rather private to me, lol. Sometimes I'll try to put my word in if people are talking about something I recognize, but I tend to go unnoticed. Although I'll admit that I don't really try as hard as I could, as I get bored of it rather quickly. xD /shortattentionspan

@nerthos Actually to be more clear, they were just trying to make her feel better about herself. I just realized how I made that sound, lol. But I made sure not to take part in it, as I've never met the girl and wouldn't really be of any help.

@crusader8 Oh! I forgot about that. How do you even find people in your area that want to play? I always wonder how people manage to find their groups for tabletop games.

@tara local gaming stores. If you don't have one, it's really hard to keep a group together. Even if you don't play there, you meet people there and play elsewhere if you have the room. regardless, it all starts with your local friendly gaming store.

@tara There are scripts to refresh just RDN. RDNrefresh and Mintrefresh.

@tara What browser do you use? We've got refresh scripts for the site that work with Greasemonkey or Scriptish on Firefox, or Tampermonkey on Chrome.

@crusader8 Oh! I don't know why I've never thought of that. I used to always hang around a card store as a kid and played Yugioh cards with everyone. I totally forgot about that. That's pretty cool. c:

@redenchilada Oh I never really could figure out how to use Greasemonkey back when I used Firefox. I use Chrome these days.

@tara I used to do all the card games, but I enjoy the attachment I have to my warhammer armies. I didn't pull them out of lucky packs or copy a winning deck; I built my units, monsters and vehicles from scratch and when I paint them there's a sense of pride in it. Also the game is fun.

@tara Well, if you install Tampermonkey (apparently Chrome's built-in scripting doesn't work with the scripts) you can use either of the scripts pony linked. (It's as simple as clicking the link once you have the addon installed.)

@crusader8 Oh I might read it, but usually I'm not into romance stories, personally. It's just not my thing. At least I think it's a romance story, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. xD Fanfics are awesome though, I might write my own sometime. I need to be inspired by something though to come up with a good story. And that's cool that you sing btw, what kind of stuff do you sing? :3 I could never, ever sing myself lol.

@tara IT'S A GRIMDARK lol jk yeah it's a disney-style romance (in other words, PG-rated romance based on plot and not "well this episode reinforces the shipping lulz"). Also partly inspired by Furuba. I sing everything that sounds good and doesn't rip my throat in half (aka I don't sing stuff by guys who scream or half-scream etc). I like to sing Boston, Journey, Iron Maiden, Elton John, lots and lots more

@crusader8 Oh I could tell it was just a friendly little thing, I've just never been into romance stuff period. Like whenever any sort of love interest is introduced in shows, movies or books, I tend to roll my eyes and think, 'Ya whatever, don't care." lol. I'm really immature in that respect for my age. c: What's Furuba? And I have to admit that the only name I recognize in your post is Elton John, and I personally haven't listened to any of his music.

@crusader8 I'm 22, so it depends on what you mean by young. >w< Oh I just watched that movie on TV just a few days ago and I freaking loved Timon and Pumba. xD It's been so long since I've seen it. I did the first couple of episode of Fruit Basket on Netflix, but I didn't keep watching it after that for some reason. Perhaps I'll watch a bit of it later tonight, as I do remember liking it.

@tara Fruits Basket is the only anime in which I can say I enjoyed the manga more. Typically I always prefer the anime to manga, and typically I only read manga if it has very few volumes. Fruits Basket was good enough to make me read all 23 volumes! The humor is captured perfect in the anime but it loses out on being cancelled after one season. You only get to see the first act of the story I'm afrad

@crusader8 I don't think I've ever been to a convention before, despite how big of a geek I am when it comes to video games. What are they like really? The ones that aren't huge like E3, I mean.

@tara E3 is a press event, there's a difference. Conventions have huge rooms with vendors who sell all sorts of merch at (sometimes) competing prices, big room for artists who sell their fanart (and some of it is actually good), video rooms to watch shows or movies, cosplay contests and meetups, karaoke (which I do), panel segments to learn things about things, meeting voice actors and other important people, big dances with loud music and also concerts, a huge room with video games set up, a huge room with tons of tables to play board games and card games, and pricey food.
