@dlcentaur I got an e-mail from a job I hope to get regarding the pre-employment test to which I've been invited. That, or the fact that I still don't have tuberculosis. Et tu?

@dlcentaur Well, in the long run, schoolteacher. But this particular job is running a machine in a paper-making factory. Pay is good and the hours are stable, so it's better than unemployment! According to my math, it should afford me the chance to get my own place for the first time in my 29 years (stupid, overpriced California).

@dlcentaur Well, nothing's signed yet, but yes. I'm happy to have *something* going my way, job-wise. And I think my odds are good, a lot of my family has worked there.
