    [b]High Resolution Map Scan[/b]: As many of you noticed during yesterday's Walmart post, we now have a fully canon map of Equestria. Everything from Griffons to Applewood are front and center. It's overall a really impressive piece! I actually called 4 nearby stores yesterday with 0 luck, so this may be the best option if you guys want one. Pixelkitties has scanned it and uploaded it to her DA page in massive resolution and 15 mb.         @thelastgherkin Apparently teh posters were given away free with purchases at Walmart? (according to the DA scanner, but Sethisto seems to have not found any left.. Basically it's a free promotional item, but yeah, technically still pirating. xP

            @thelastgherkin that's buying other things and them releasing them as incentive to purchase said other products. They make nothing DIRECTLY from the posters.

              @abigpony Seems more like a technicality - the intent was still only to give them to people who gave them money for something. I mean, I still downloaded it, but I'd still rather get the actual thing if they do the same promotion with any stores over here.

                @bitshift well yeah, don't get me wrong, i still would much rather get them in real life (granted they release something worh purchasing here) but i'm talking about the fact that the posters don't TECHNICALLY cost money. They work sort of like commercials do in this sense.

              @abigpony The whole reason they're releasing incentive posters is to get people to shop at Walmart. They're losing custom because of it. (Insert response about how Walmart can afford to lose a few customers, etc.) Then that just jeopardises the relationship between Hasbro and Walmart, lessening chances of any more Walmart-exclusive merchandise.

                  @abigpony They're getting an exclusive set of 10" plushies in the Autumn. They also stock several kinds of exclusive Transformers and GI Joe merchandise.
