...welp. Just dug up my own first notice page expecting to find something stupid and/or silly, only to instead get a reminder that I basically joined and was then immediately confronted with posts about Edd Gould's death. I... really didn't choose a great day to join. :S

@bitshift We plain didn't have rules back then. Heck, when I became a mod, our only instructions were "keep the peace". (And then tinker yelled at me after silencing one of her friends for starting crap with some other member.)
