   So apparently it's illegal to buy military MREs in the States, what I guess the military calls K-rations? Does anyone know anything about the civilian versions?

     @scribus @awl The making of MREs is contracted out so the only ones that are govt. property are ones that the DOD buys. Kinda like how you can buy cans and compasses straight from the manufacturer.
