@thelastgherkin I find it interesting how circumstances work to make pony fancharacters ok while Sonic fancharacters are shunned. (Not that I'm _defending_ the abominations that are Sonic fancharacters, but...)

@doates the genesis sonic game are the best ones tho and the werewolf sonic games are just stupid but the genesis ones are just bad

@foxgopher The issue was that the old formula didn't translate into 3D and Sega kept trying to force it. Once they realized that, the games started getting slowly better.

@redenchilada I have the first three, and I kept track for a while. Then I played Shadow. And no more Sonic for me. They just dont get it. While they may make decent ones for handheld, they can't make good console.

@foxgopher Unleashed was the first one where they stopped trying to butcher the Genesis formula into 3D.

@redenchilada I honestly stopped caring. The one they made for the PS2 I believe, where you raised the little thingies (chows?) That was the last good one I heard.
